Mentorship lies at the heart of the WLI mission in cultivating a campus culture that encourages women leadership and friendship. Last year, the WLI mentorship program included over 80 girls. The program pairs underclassmen with upperclassmen based on pre-professional and extracurriculars interests. Monthly themed events, such as tapas and spa nights, provide the space for families to foster and develop relationships within a comfortable environment. In the spring semester, WLI forged a new partnership with the Women in Management (WIM) group from the Yale School of Management. This venture allowed upperclassmen the opportunity to connect with first year women at WIM and learn about business school and beyond. We hope that the mentorship program allows our members to develop lasting relationships that continue to thrive, even after graduation.
