President

Meng Jia Yang is a senior in Pierson College from Vancouver, Canada. She is double majoring in Economics and International Studies. When she's not working on WLI efforts, she spends her time writing for the Yale Undergraduate Law Review and volunteering for the Urban Debate League.

Vice President

Alexis Wise is a junior in Branford College from Los Altos Hills, California. She is majoring in Psychology. She is a Yale College Council representative and is involved in the Slifka Center for Jewish Life. In her free time, Alexis enjoys Branford College IM's, bowling, watching stand-up comedy, cooking and eating foreign food, and listening to country music.

Business Chair

Jacqueline Sahlberg is a senior American Studies major in Silliman College and a proud 6th generation Idahoan. She spent her summer interning in corporate communications at Humana in Louisville, Kentucky through Bulldogs in the Bluegrass. Jacqueline runs varsity cross country and track for Yale. Her interests range from skiing and spending time with her family to practicing yoga and learning how to make wine. This year, she hopes to increase WLI's capabilities through partnerships with outside organizations and corporations.

Conference Co-Chair

Melissa Hou hails from Louisville, KY and is a junior, Global Affairs major in Berkeley College. She spent the summer of 2011 interning in the London offices of an alternative asset management firm, and conducting research on post-financial crisis regulation and financial politics. Her interests range from the study of ethnic conflict and diplomacy to cooking and travel. This year, she hopes to attract an even larger and more diverse group of attendees to the WLI conference, and to introduce an entrepreneurship panel.

Alumnae Relations Chair

Meredith Potter, a junior in Saybrook College, is a Political Science major concentrating in International Security. She spent her summer in Washington DC, where she interned for the Department of Defense. Meredith loves country music and sweet tea. She enjoys watching the Food Network and cooking with her suitemates. This year, Meredith hopes to increase alumnae involvement in WLI by arranging for alumnae to participate in our annual conference and expanding our job shadowing day in New York City.

Outreach Chair

Eileen Jang is a junior in Calhoun College and a prospective Economics and International Studies major.  She hopes to help create a larger membership base for WLI, and is especially working to improve freshmen outreach efforts.  Outside of working with the great ladies in WLI, she serves as Alumni Outreach Co-Coordinator for the Asian American Cultural Center, and plays Calhoun intramural sports.  She also enjoys good food, travel, and trail biking on sunny days.
